Helping to continue a legacy!

My grandmother always had fun! Always. One of the many great memories that I have of her is teaching me and my sisters to hold a spoon on our noses. Today I helped her legacy live on.

I have been shopping for the upcoming Go Trip that I am cooking for. So the boys have been very patient with me while we shop and shop and shop so more. So I thought the spoon time was a good break!

To slow things down I got sick on Monday night, I'm sure my friends think I'm MIA because it has taken me three days to recover from the flu or whatever it was. But in the middle of it all (sickness and fun) has been the shopping, some of you don't believe me when I tell you how much there is so I took pics.

I know that this post has been random, feel like there is a lot to catch everyone up on. Fun with my boys, just like Great One would have done, missing her daily! Cooking and planning, one of her favorite things to do especially for her family (whether that was church family or blood), I feel like I am helping continue her legacy. Even if it is just a little and that makes me feel good.

My Grandmother is one of the most Godly, Loving Women I know and I hope one day I have the legacy that she has left. Who has impacted your life? Or who do you hope to leave a legacy for?
Love,
Ang

  1. LOVE this post! Great One sounded like one cool lady if you ask me and I bet your boys had fun getting to know a little piece of her through the spoon trick!

I did think you were MIA! Sorry you weren't feeling well. What a bummer. At least you aren't sick while you are at camp and you got it out of your system before! And HOLY FOOD! That is about all that I can say!

I have had so many people impact my life, it would be hard to choose just one! I am surrounded by a lot of love and I want my children to always know that family is so important and will have your back no matter what!
